Atal Setu Bridge

Atal Setu Bridge Named after former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the cable-stayed ‘Atal Setu’ is the fourth of its kind in the country.

Atal Setu near Pathankot is a 592 mt long cable-stayed bridge on the Ravi river situated on Dunera(Pathankot) to Basohli road and built to improve connectivity among three states of India- Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Atal Setu near Pathankot is a 592 mt long cable-stayed bridge on the Ravi river commissioned to nation on 24th December 2015 by Defence Minister Manohar Parrikkar.

The bridge is situated on Dunera(Pathankot) to Basohli road and built to improve connectivity among three states of India- Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Its design was prepared by Infinity Engineers, a Canadian company, and approved by IIT, Delhi.
