A proposed intervention within the urban fabric of Wakad- Polaris is envisioned as a symbol of direction, stability, and aspiration. Conceived to support the city’s expanding IT sector, the development is planned as a commercial high-rise with efficient recreational areas. The facade is designed as a high-performance, climate-responsive envelope that reduces heat gain while maximising natural daylight. A clear structural grid and usable floor plates enable flexible and efficient workspace configurations.

Aligned with smart building principles, the design integrates energy management systems, intelligent vehicle management, and provisions for emergency and crisis response.

One of the sought-after award-winning projects in Pune city, "Nandan Prospera", showcases innovative architectural design, creating a bold statement in the city even after 20 years of its construction. Planned to maximise cross ventilation, natural light and visual connection, the project's verticality captures the eye. A defining feature of the development, the skybridge, connects the residents of the four buildings and creates better access to open areas.

The buildings' floor plans consist of four flats per floor up to the 7th floor, and three flats per floor from the 7th to the 16th floor, maximising the horizon views to the west. All flats are designed to open on three sides to offer better views and natural ventilation. The functionality of the project is achieved through the inclusion of amenities on the 7th floor and the roof, serving as a focal point for social and communal activities.

VK:a worked closely with VK:e to integrate environmental measures into the project from the design stage. Nandan Prospera was awarded the “AESA-TESE Award in 2012” for following the norms of Technology, Ecology & Environment, Society, and Economy. It also bagged the “Best Project in the Group Housing Category”.

Kohinoor Shangrila, a high-rise residential project in Pimpri, is thoughtfully designed with landscaped areas and a comprehensive range of amenities within limited space. Play areas, board game areas, and open lawns are integrated for people to gather and socialise. A half Olympic-size swimming pool, complemented by a dedicated baby pool, adds a sense of calm and leisure to the overall design. Privacy has been carefully addressed using louvers on the facade, along with pergolas featuring trellises and shrubs on the opposite side.

The project serves as an example of integrating the essential requirements of the client into an available footprint of 30% of the total site area.

Qrious, at Life Republic, adopts a U-shaped plan that opens out to a landscaped podium, ensuring expansive views and a visual connection with nature. With most apartments optimally oriented, natural light and cross-ventilation are integrated, enhancing everyday comfort and spatial quality. Balconies are designed to protrude outwards, framing panoramic vistas and creating a fluid transition between interior spaces and the outdoors.

The site includes gentle contours which guide one smoothly to parking spaces. Above, an expansive 2.75-acre podium unfolds as a curated recreational landscape, featuring a swimming pool, a clubhouse, and a range of thoughtfully designed amenities. Shaded zones offer comfortable retreats for social interaction, while rooftop amenities extend the experience vertically, reinforcing a sense of openness.

VK:e environmental aids in the achievement of a GOLD rating under the IGBC Green Interior (New Interior) certification for the interior fit-out of Dassault Systems, already within a LEED-certified building. The project reflects a commitment to creating a sustainable, healthy, and efficient working environment.

The design prioritises green building principles, sustainable materials and optimised space planning. Energy performance is enhanced through ozone-friendly systems, high-efficiency chiller-based HVAC, and continuous energy monitoring.
