We at Tigo ( India Trust in Green Only) are working toward dry waste management at household level in Pune. We provide a door to door pick up facility at societies to collect dry waste which gets collected at every household like Plastic, Newspapers, Clothes, cardboard & electronics waste on weekly/monthly level. Following the path "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" we at IndiaTigo, a team of 3 people, curre

ntly are trying to manage & channelize the dry waste at the very first level of waste source, which is household. We will collect the waste from your doorstep, giving incentives for the same & ensure that the waste gets recycled by channelising the same to authorized waste management plants around Pune & Maharashtra. People can schedule the pick up during weekend via call/mail/watsapp/Text messaging to us.

Chandan Bhar: This is the first time we worshiped Lord Ganesha at our little home. Our kids preferred to get a soil/clay made idol, used hand painted clay dia and used decoration materials from my younger kid's play-boxes. All are either Eco-friendly or reusable material. We have done immersion ceremony after one-and-a-half day in the immersion tankers provided by Pune Municipal Corporation, which is a very appreciable initiative taken by the administrative authority.

A Ganpati that doesnt't harm the environment brings the true spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi to life. It could be a moorti made of clay, or even a mandap made from recycled materials.
