India House Art Gallery reopened its doors after five years with “Let A Thousand Flowers Bloom”, a captivating exhibition of drawing, painting, and photography inspired by the grace of Odissi dance, on Friday, 20th March 2026. The exhibition brings together the works of 21 artists from Bhubaneswar, Chennai, and Malaysia, celebrating movement, rhythm, and artistic expression across cultures.
The opening ceremony was graced by distinguished guests of honor, namely, Mr. Hanmant Rao Gaikwad, Founder, Chairman & Managing Director, BVG Bharat Vikas Group India Limited. Ms. Vaishali Hanmant Rao Gaikwad, Head of Corporate Affairs, BVG Group. Ms. Mrunal Pawar, Director, Sakal Media Group and Trustee of Pune Blind School & Nirdhar Trust. Mr. Sunny Vinayak Nimhan, Corporator, Pune Municipal Corporation. Mr. Vikas Achalkar, Past Chairman, Indian Institute of Architects, Pune Centre.
A highlight of the evening was a mesmerizing Odissi performance by Padma Shri awardee Mr. Ramli Ibrahim, the renowned Malaysian choreographer, adding a powerful cultural dimension to the event.
