Tall windows framed with overlapping drapes let the light gently move through the home, becoming part of the design itself.

The language of this space has always been uncluttered and restrained — a neutral palette, quiet textures, and a transitional design approach that balances timelessness with warmth.

Minimalism sits at the core, not as emptiness, but as intentional living.

Every element here is meant to breathe, soften, and allow the architecture and natural light to speak for themselves.

A few years ago, I took a step back from the rush of everyday life and went on a sabbatical for 3-4 years to focus on something deeply personal - building our villa in Goa.

We named it Trabalho De Amor, which translates to “Labour of Love,” because every corner of this home was created with intention, patience, and heart. From the architecture and materials to the smallest details, it became a journey that taught me creativity, resilience, and the beauty of slowing down.

What started as a dream slowly turned into a space filled with warmth, stories, and soul….

Today, I finally feel ready to share glimpses of Trabalho De Amor…. not just as a home, but as a chapter of life that means so much to me.
