So, it’s happy birthday to James Burt. He keeps giving me a hard time for not posting anything since November. I keep forgetting to take “before” pics, but remembered yesterday. So, here’s a before and after just for him.

A thoroughly enjoyable 2-day basic course on dry stane dyking run by Dry Stone Walling Association. Hard work but very rewarding. The experience has definitely given me something to build on..

Having just retired after over 28 years of public service, I’m planning on keeping active and alert by offering garden maintenance services via Burt’s Garden Maintenance. I’m not Alan Titchmarsh, but I am proficient at fencing, cutting, pruning and so on. I’ve been doing it for over 30 years.
