Il progetto T.E.S.I. si propone come nuovo modello di organizzazione della tesi di laurea e di dottorato, con l’obiettivo di instaurare un sistema di relazioni e corrispondenze tra studenti e università di diversi paesi, sostenendo e favorendone la cooperazione. intende avvicinare conoscenze formative diverse, stabilendo, periodicamente e per ogni settore scientifico-disciplinare, un argomento di
tesi quale vincolo programmatico per il confronto tra laureandi. La scelta dell’argomento è affidata ad un collegio di docenti e studenti, istituito per ogni settore, che ha inoltre il compito di redigere un apposito dossier sul quale presentare e specificare le linee guida da seguire nell’elaborazione del tema in esame. Tra gli ambiti disciplinari è anche previsto un coinvolgimento trasversale, in cui studenti appartenenti a settori differenti possono scegliere di coordinarsi sul medesimo tema. Per dare maggiore scientificità e completezza all’oggetto di studio sono organizzati, in parallelo, dibattiti, lezioni e seminari. Alla scadenza di ogni anno accademico sono effettuate conferenze, mostre e pubblicazioni per presentare il lavoro e i risultati cui si è giunti. Il progetto “Tesi Europee Sperimentali Interuniversitarie” nasce al Politecnico di Bari nel 2007. È un’iniziativa curata da Vincenzo D’Alba e Francesco Maggiore con il coordinamento scientifico e culturale della cattedra di Storia dell’Architettura del professore Francesco Moschini, allo scopo di promuovere lo studio e la partecipazione come fondamentale principio formativo. The European Interuniversity Experimental Theses Project is intended as a new model of degree thesis, with the aim of establishing a relationship among students and universities of different countries, sustaining their cooperation. This project means to put different kinds of formative knowledge in touch, by settling every year a specific subject of thesis for each division, as a programmatic bond between last-year students. A college of lecturers and students will be appointed for all subject areas in order to choose the subject of the theses and draw up a special paper containing some guidelines on the elaboration of the referred subject. A transverse involvement of different areas of study is widely expected to take place: students of several areas may coordinate their studies on the same theme. At the same time, in order to render the object of study more scientific and complete, a number of discussions, lectures and seminars will be held. At the end of each academic year conferences, exhibitions, and publications will show all the work done and its results.
