An extraordinary rarity, restored through a shared commitment to Ferrari heritage.
Bacchelli & Villa, in collaboration with Ferrari Classiche, is proud to announce the completion of the restoration of Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Alloy chassis 12653, to be presented at Cavallino Classic Modena 2026.
Among the rarest and most exclusive road-going Ferraris ever built, the Daytona Alloy stands as a true icon of Maranello craftsmanship and performance. Produced in extremely limited numbers, these lightweight aluminum-bodied examples were designed for discerning clients seeking the ultimate evolution of the legendary 365 GTB/4 — a car where competition-derived engineering met uncompromising grand touring elegance.
Chassis #12653 is one of these exceptionally scarce automobiles: a remarkable survivor representing the pinnacle of the Daytona lineage. Its alloy coachwork, handcrafted by Scaglietti, together with the legendary V12, make it one of the most coveted and historically significant Ferraris of its era.
The restoration of such an important car demanded absolute dedication to authenticity and historical accuracy. Working closely with Ferrari Classiche, every phase of the project was approached with meticulous research, traditional craftsmanship, and deep respect for the originality of the car. From the aluminum bodywork to the finest mechanical and aesthetic details, each element has been restored to faithfully preserve the identity and spirit of chassis 12653.
For Bacchelli & Villa, contributing to the preservation of such a rare Ferrari alongside Ferrari Classiche has been both an honor and a privilege.
We look forward to unveiling this extraordinary Daytona Alloy in Modena, among the world’s most important collector Ferraris.
