FLORENC 21 - PHASE WEST
Prague, 2025

URBAN EDEN - Block B02
Finalist project
In Urban Eden, the hybrid construction system is both an engineering solution and a defining architectural feature. A concealed structural grid—combining vertical and diagonal elements—allows offset apartments and cantilevers while keeping interiors visually pure and slabs structurally efficient.
Concrete provides the project’s solid backbone, while exposed timber shapes roofs, inner façades, and modular prefabricated units, reducing weight and enabling dry assembly. This logic extends outdoors, where structure becomes pergolas and gardens, blurring architecture and landscape.
The result is an iconic, pixelated façade: a hybrid system where structure, material, and form work together to support complexity, flexibility, and contemporary living.
