What the best “find” you’ve ever found?

Bonjour, I’m Chloe: on a mission to redefine luxury. 🦢

💫 Comment HELLO on this post and I’ll send you a link to join the more meaningful challenge, totally free, to help you live more meaningfully!

I coined the term: “You don’t need more, you need meaningful.” as a way to sum up what I truly believe makes something luxurious. It’s the things money can’t buy: time, patina, memory, laughter…the juicy bits of life.

Translating that into design is something we are so grateful for do for our clients everyday at . We do this by incorporating heirloom pieces, antiques, and artisan products in everything we do. Very rarely do we buy something “off the shelf” because it lacks the specialness that comes with the imperfections of handmade and pass down.

I believe this translates beyond design and soaks into every bit of life and ultimately makes for a life well lived. 🤍

If you’re dreaming of the English countryside…🦢

The Cotswolds are one of the most beautiful and quintessential places you’ll ever have the chance to visit. Daylesford is a must, and one of the first places we take our guests on our design retreats.

We began visiting many years ago when introduced me to the area. Quickly a favorite getaway and just 2 hours from London, it’s one of the most wonderful places to slow down and reconnect with nature. That’s exactly what you’ll find at Daylesford.

For a full guide, just comment COTSWOLDS and I will DM you a link ◡̈ and be sure to follow along myself and for more inspiration and info about ticket releases for our next trip!

I just didn’t realize that meant literally shedding my hair. 💇🏼‍♀️🇫🇷

Comment your best hair growth tips…S’il te plait!

After months of holding it all together on the outside, my body had other plans…my hair started falling out in clumps. So I did the only thing that made sense: I booked a haircut, in Paris!

Jacobo at David Mallett cut off 5 finger lengths (my US stylist might disown me 😅), and as the hair hit the floor, I happy at the external change. A reflection of the internal.

Healing isn’t always beautiful that’s for sure. But I’m proud of who I’m becoming, even if I had to leave some of the old me behind.

✨ Hair grows back. But strength? That’s something I get to keep forever.

I remember telling my friends about my idea for Boxwood Avenue and while everyone was supportive, it was one of those “that’s a cute idea!” moments.

My {former} accountant famously told me to register the business as a hobby - I told him “Martha Stewart started somewhere!”

That was about 10 years ago, and today I’m taking a moment to celebrate how far we’ve come and how much bigger my dreams are.

I didn’t start with anything but a camera, laptop, and sewing machine. I’ve bootstrapped everything, and have had many ups and downs. Sometimes I compare myself to others, but then I remember we are all on our own journey, and to be here, that is such a gift.

I hope this inspires you to chase your dreams and thank you for the love and support along the way! 🤍

Here’s our rule of thumb at .interiors…

Designing or building a home? Save this one! And follow for more design tips for creating a timeless home. 💕

If you have the ability to invest in custom cabinetry, and you can dictate the stain color, cabinet door profile, the wood species and grain pattern…by all means, go for a stained cabinet. It will always look good!

That said, many pre-made stains are formulate to be “of the moment” - honey oak anyone?

So if you are purchasing cabinetry, I recommend a paint grade finish something creamy, sage green, or navy. Those colors are timeless.

Here’s how I love wearing mine.

Comment FLEA I’ll DM you my full guide & google map. 🦢

If you’ve been wondering what to wear in Europe, here’s your answer…the ultimate French fashion accessory.

If you’re wondering how much they cost, you can find them from anywhere around $250-$750.

I like finding them at the Paul Bert marche because you can trust it is from a reputable vendor and authentic. Plus, it’s usually a bit more curated.

Bon shopping, and if you’re interested in joining me on an antiquing trip, we have a few spots left in our September retreat!

Over the years, I’ve really connected with people here with a shared love of antiques and creating a beauty no matter where you are.

Since moving to Paris, I’ve found so much courage and a new version of myself, and I felt it was time to fully embrace who I am. In addition to boxwood, I’m here to share with you an honest behind the scenes look at my day to day life.

For those of you that have been following for so many years and have supported my journey, I want you to know how much it’s meant to me over the years. I am truly so so grateful.

I hope you enjoy this next chapter of Boxwood. I feel like we’ve planted seeds and we are sprouting now. I’m so excited to share with you everything we’ve been working on, and if this was your first time, here, it is so nice to meet you. I’m glad we can be friends!

If you’re coming to Paris…you must visit the brocantes!

Especially if you love interiors or want to bring something unique and special home.

The Vanves flea is located in the south and is much calmer and more approachable than the St. Ouen fleas. With…better pricing. That drop leaf table in my video? It was priced at €70! I could hardly believe it.

It’s definitely a good market if you’re new to Paris and shopping the fleas, I think you’ll be much less overwhelmed starting here!

Comment FLEA and I’ll DM you all of the details so you can screenshot and save for your next trip! 🤍
