During Salone 2026, Edra opened its Milanese home at Via Durini 24: frescoed rooms, the ground-floor gallery, and the inner courtyard. It was one of those rare Milan Design Week moments where the collection unfolded away from the main exhibition current - quieter, closer, almost like a private route through a door that opens only for a few.
A historic palazzo can easily make furniture feel ceremonial. With .official , the impression was different: less about grandeur, more about presence. Deep sofas, free forms, soft volumes - pieces that invite you to come closer, to study the curve, the texture, the depth of the seat, the mood of the form itself.
This is where Milan Design Week becomes most interesting: not only in the pavilions, but in those hidden addresses where design is experienced almost privately - through architecture, access, and the atmosphere of a place that usually lives by its own rules.
