In Puglia, the landscape teaches restraint. Sun-bleached stone, silver olives, wild herbs moving in the wind — this is where naturalistic planting feels most at home.

Ornamental grasses bring softness and movement to dry Mediterranean gardens, catching the evening light and echoing the surrounding fields. Paired with clouds of dry garden planting, the effect is both relaxed and deeply ecological: pollinators everywhere, scent rising in the heat, textures shifting through the seasons.

Naturalistic planting is not about perfection, it’s about rhythm, resilience, and planting that belongs to the place, the feel is less designed and more discovered.
