competition entry: "Extension of the Justice City in Piazzale Clodio in Rome"

We’re proud to share our awarded proposal of the Justice City Extension in Piazzale Clodio in Rome
The project aims to expand the existing Court of Justice and create a gateway to the Monte Mario Urban Park, reconciling the dense city with the surrounding nature. The main building volume appears raising from the ground to liberate the public space, generating a sheltered entry square and a large internal bioclimatic courtyard.

Selected as a finalist in the CINECA Campus architecture competition, our project is an adaptive building that connects research, community, and nature. The building becomes a self-sufficient microcosm thanks to a parametric and computational approach, creating a flexible and sustainable ecosystem designed to offer a high standard quality workspace.
