A big pot filled with boiling water.
My hands pouring coarse salt into it.
I’m about to throw in the pasta. Pasta for many people.
It’s my style: cooking for a crowd, saying "dinner’s ready!!!" so everyone sits down, arriving at the table with the big pot and serving each person.
It’s also my style to create community: being together, filling bellies with something delicious, prepared with care, respect, and attention to every detail.
