Samares Manor
Marvelous experience of enjoying a living working garden, it was charming.
Didn’t know what to expect after seeing some reviews. But we had a marvellous visit, stayed about five hours. Spoke to the owner whilst she was feeding her donkeys. She was charming. Her ethos of now enjoying a lived, non-pristine garden is absolutely perfect. There are many aspects to delight whilst going around the site. The cafe serves with friendly informative staff, and Maria took time to explain about the food coming in freshly each day, all made from scratch. Couldn’t speak more highly of the set up. My friend Erika and I, Lesley, we enjoyed it all enormously. Quite like the idea to stay in the accommodation on site next time. Thank you everyone it was just perfect

For the first time in history we are proud to announce that the Manor House, the Agricultural and Rural Museum, and Colombiere are now open to the public for self guided tours every day from 11am - 3pm. The Samares team have worked together to bring many areas of the rooms and museums to life, we are very proud indeed !
Annual membership is Just £40.00 a year for a member and guest. Entry to the whole site is now £15.00 for adults. We think this is excellent value for money.
