The previous planning permit we obtained expired and we reapplied on behalf of our client. The application was to extend and remodel the existing garage and studio apartment into a one bedroom house. The approval was granted by the planning applications panel in October 2020, Permit No: P/2020/0334.
Building Bylaws was approved before the original planning permit expired in 2019, Permit No: B/2019/0764

This site is located in the Green Zone where there is a presumption against new development. The site consist of a granite barn containing a car repair workshop, offices, storage / workshop and one flat; the remainder of the site has a car spraying booth, vehicle storage and builders yard.
We gained planning approval for 4 holiday cottages in the existing barn, 1 holiday cottage replacing the spray booth and 1 residential house.
The development is currently waiting for Building Bylaw consent with construction due to start later in the year.
