TURATH provides consultation in architectural design, heritage conservation & urban regeneration, architectural research & environmental design, heritage tourism, cultural site management, community empowerment and place research, and training and capacity building at different levels. The main objective of TURATH is providing consultation coupled
with scientific, historic, and thorough research on the site or locale understudy. TURATH’s work is supported by a multi-disciplinary research team and research center encompassing architecture, urban design, green architecture, planning, heritage conservation, urban regeneration, transportation, archaeology, environmental engineering, municipal infrastructure, heritage management, tourism and spatial computer data base applications. The specialties of TURATH team members are diverse with strong emphasis on architecture, heritage, and urban design. Several of the architects and urban designers hold graduate degrees in their respective disciplines and sub specialties with ample professional experience. TURATH had worked closely with Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) on several key projects in the capital Amman centering on urban regeneration and public space design. The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities of Jordan (MOTA) had been another major client with projects located in Mkies, Ajloun, Salt, and in several areas of the country. In addition, TURATH had worked extensively with the private sector in addition to several non-governmental organizations and donor agencies. TURATH provided consultations and worked in different cities of the Middle East such as in Amman, Salt, Jerash, Kerak, Mkies, Ajloun, Madaba of Jordan.
