工業団地内への事業所移転に伴い物流と営業の機能を同居させ、建物全体をショールームと見立てた倉庫兼オフィスの計画。倉庫という性格上求められる合理性や経済性にシンプルなボックス型の構成でそれらの要件を満たし、閉鎖的なハコになりがちな倉庫建築に対する解決策として、水平連続窓や光庭を取り入れ51mx33mの大空間に効率的かつ有効に光・風を参加させることで快適な環境の倉庫とオフィス空間を実現している。内部空間は、色使い、素材感、照明計画、美しい造形の階段などの要素により変化のある空間体験に加えて施設全体を通してコンテンポラリーで洗練された質の高い空間となっている。インテリアの仕上げは、取り扱い商材を採用することで空間と事業とを紐付け建築に新たな付加価値を生むアイデアの提案でもある。それらが建築本来の目的や用途を逸脱しない絶妙なバランスで表現されている点に設計者の高いデザイン性と設計スキルが窺える。連窓の構成は建築の内外においてその効果と存在感を発揮し、働く人の環境、風景との関わり合い、建築が事業へもたらす影響など、設計者として多様な視点と思考でプロジェクトに向き合いその可能性を引き上げるものであり評価した。

This is a warehouse and office project that combines the functions of logistics and sales as a showroom. The building meets the rationality and economy requirements of a warehouse with a simple box-type structure, and as a solution to the warehouse architecture that tends to be a closed box, horizontal ribbon windows and a light garden are incorporated to efficiently and effectively allow light and air to participate in the large 51m x 33m space, creating a comfortable environment for the warehouse and office space. The interior space is designed with a colour scheme, materials and a light and airy feel. The interior space has a contemporary, sophisticated quality throughout the facility in addition to a varied spatial experience through elements such as the use of colour, materials, lighting schemes and a beautifully shaped staircase. The interior finishes are also a proposal of ideas that create new added value to the architecture by linking the space to the business through the use of the commercial materials handled. The designer's high design and design skills can be seen in the fact that these are expressed in an exquisite balance that does not deviate from the original purpose and use of the building. The composition of the connecting windows demonstrates its effectiveness and presence both inside and outside the building, and the designer's diverse perspectives and thinking on the project, including the environment of the workers, the relationship with the landscape and the impact of the architecture on the business, have raised its potential and been highly evaluated.
