公益財団法人　無限庵 無限庵は、山中温泉で有名な石川県加賀市山中温泉にある石川県指定文化? The house is said to have been built in the closing days of the Meiji era (1868～1912).

無限庵は、山中温泉で有名な石川県加賀市山中温泉にある石川県指定文化財の加賀藩最高の武家書院です。当書院は明治末期の木造技術の枠を傾けた最高級の普請であったと語り伝えられており、尾形光琳の扇、九谷焼、加賀蒔絵の漆器等の古美術品と共に、一般公開されています。

Mugen-an is located on a slope overlooking Yamanaka Onsen (hot spring), after passing over the famous bridge Koorogi-bashi (Cricket Bridge).ugen-an was a house of Shoin-zukuri built by the Yokoyama family, one of the chief retainer families of the Kaga domain, in their p

remises in Kanazawa and moved to and rebuilt in the present location. It has been handed down among the people concerned that the house was one of the best and finest Japanese traditional buildings constructed with the delicacy of wooden architecture at that time. Its gorgeous and brilliant architectural legacy reminds us of the prosperity of the Yokoyama family. Mugen-an should be recognized as a splendid modern Shoin-zukuri house which surely inherited the tradition of old-time samurai residential Shoin-zukuri exhibited in Seisenkaku in Kanazawa, which is designated as and important cultural property of Japan. We do hope that every visitor may enjoy the scenery of the house and its vicinity and feel pleasure and enrichment to their life in a ceremonious environment of tea serving.
