Today, Kawagoe City issued a Level 3 Evacuation Alert due to the risk of flooding from rising river levels.

A Level 3 alert means that elderly people, pregnant women, people with disabilities, families with young children, and anyone who may need extra time to evacuate should move to a safe place immediately.
