As Spatial Codes completes its first 7-year cycle, the journey let to Japan to immerse in the work of the masters of space, light, and materiality.
From Tadao Ando’s Benesse House and SANAA’s poetic art space of Teshima Island to Kengo Kuma’s Sunny Hills, and the scale and precision of Sou Fujimoto’s Grand Rising at the Expo along with many other remarkable works by great architects.

Amazed, humbled, and inspired by architecture as living experiences that connect people, nature, and time.

Grateful for these seven years of exploration, challenges, and growth — and excited for what the next cycle will bring.

Once again we transformed the window of our studio into a changing street exhibition.

We are researching the spatial identity of BoTu via a visual essay, the part that ties someone to a particular space & place and what are these spatial elements that represents that.

The changing exhibition will stay up till June 2023

Last week we participated in two talks about architecture and the role the architect in shaping public spaces. The first one was at the stadsmakercongres in Rotterdam and the other was part of the Baltimore - Rotterdam sistercity webinarseries. Links in Bio
