今回は若木の多い5年目のお庭のお手入れ。
桜、モミジは時期を考慮し控えめに、大きくなりすぎたシマトネリコ、コニファーを中心に全体に手を入れさせて頂きました。まめにお手入れさせて頂き、生長を見守りたいです。

Maintained 5 years old garden before summer.
Trimmed Fraxinus griffithii which is the biggest tree in this garden and two conifers next to the entrance, and the other small plants. Since it’s hot weather for the plants (even for me…), I avoided cutting too much of the Japanese cherry blossom and maple tree. I already mentioned it previously, but winter is the best season to take care of them.

竹植栽の剪定とモミジの軽剪定。
お客様のご要望から、竹は透かし過ぎず緑の壁を作るように剪定、モミジは支障枝を取る程度に抑え、形を整えました。
生い茂る下草も、中枯れを起こしていたため、一部を残しふかし直しの剪定をしました。
手を加えることでさらに良い空間にしていきたいです。
次回は冬にモミジの透かし剪定を行います。

Maintaining a garden space for a modern house at Sumida.
Trimmed bamboo to make it lighter so that enough air and sun light go through the entire plant. Also, to make the shape better for the maple trees, I cut some small branches which might obstruct in the future. Take extra care of them in the winter, since it is good to trim maple trees after the leaves have fallen.

A combination of bamboo, stones and some small plants create a calm and peaceful atmosphere.

地下テラスに和を感じることの出来る竹を中心とした植栽をしました。仕上がりにとても喜んで頂き、施工させて頂いた甲斐がありました！

世田谷区のお宅で伸び過ぎたエレガンテシマのお手入れ。透かし剪定で仕上げました。
お客さんも大満足です！

Trimming a tree to make it shorter than the electric wires.
It’s better to trim branches from the inside rather than just making a shape from outside, so that enough sun light come through to the entire tree!
