試作開発を手掛ける企業のオフィスとして変化し続けるオープンな場をコンセントに設計。誰でも組み立てられて拡張、改造出来るように現場資材や、CNC切削機で切削したパーツの組み合わせでメインの空間を構成した。

The Architecture of Fear and Cure
@新台北市美術館に参加しています。今年台北の衛星都市である新台北市にオープンした新しい美術館での展示です。
所謂建築展の模型やドローイングの展示はほとんどなく、建築的恐怖と治癒というキュレーションコンセプトに対して各建築家やアーティストがインスタレーションで回答しています。UKAWは箱庭療法をモチーフに誰かの自身を守る行為は誰かにとっての脅威となりうるということをボードゲームのような形式で惑星のような構造体の中に提案しています。その中での行為はリアルタイムに外界からプロジェクションされ、体験者は自ら、あるいは自らと他者の無意識世界の中に取り込まれます。自己と他者の関係を無意識領域に置いて等価として扱うことで、恐怖と治癒という対比的なテーマに対して応答することを試みています。

This exhibition is held at the newly opened museum in New Taipei City, a satellite city of Taipei.
Rather than displaying typical architectural models and drawings, each architect and artist responds to the curatorial concept of “architectural fear and cure” through installations. UKAW proposes, within a planet-like structure resembling a board game, that actions taken to protect oneself can become a threat to others, using sandplay therapy as a motif. Actions within this space are projected in real-time onto the exterior, drawing participants into their own unconscious world or that of others. By treating the relationship between self and other as equivalent within the unconscious realm, it attempts to respond to the contrasting themes of fear and cure.

鉄道高架橋を大屋根と見立て、その下に地域産業であるものづくりをアップデートする拠点をつくる。
配置ルールによって大小様々なオープンスペースが生まれ、街中の路地や公園と接続した街に開けた想像拠点。看板や屋外ファニチャーは地域にある町工場との共同製作によって製作された。

The elevated railway bridge was envisioned as a grand roof, beneath which a hub was created to revitalize the local industry.
Through strategic placement rules, diverse open spaces of varying sizes emerged, forming an imaginative hub open to the city, connected to its alleys and parks.
Signage and outdoor furniture were produced through collaborative efforts with local small factories.

Hut mecanique

Cnc切削機で制作されたユニットの組み合わせで組み上げられた小屋のプロトタイプ。パンタグラフ方式で足場なしで、短期間で組み上げられるディテール、構法を採用した。
Prototype shed/hut assembled from CNC-machined units. Features details and construction methods enabling rapid assembly without scaffolding using a pantograph system.
