“We spent a week at Wazi Dubu – we were 3 couples and lots of children. The setting is perfect – you just fall out of the house onto the beach. The staff bend over backwards to accommodate you and the food is superb – we had a different flavour homemade sorbet or ice cream daily for 7 days! The house is big enough not to have to feel you are stumbling over each other. We spend time fishing, running, snorkelling, water-skiing and just lounging in the midday heat. I can honestly say that everybody in the group rated this as the most relaxing holiday they have ever had. We will be back.”

""What a grand, yet simple perfect Shela House. Our welcome from Abdulla at the airport was calm yet warm and efficient. Tommy with his smile and energy met us off the boat and once we got to the house, it was clean and prepared and we were welcomed again by Leah. The house works well and there are plenty of spaces and comfy places for you to unwind and just BE! The routine and efficiency of the staff was just so helpful and everything was always neat clean and fresh. Nothing was too much to ask. Tommy is a wonderful cook and easy to communicate with, as with Abdulla and Leah. Cold water with lemon slices and an amazing roof top to be on, as we indulged in silence and space in our Favorite place. "We truly had a wonderful stay at Jahazi House. The house is amazing. The small features that you don’t see on pictures such as the 3 metre jump down to the pool was fantastic for the young people, the hammock beds at the end of the house with a good book, the sunset from the roof terrace etc. I could continue... From the arrival at Manda airstrip, meeting Ali, the house manager, who took us to the house by boat being met by Liz at the beach to walk to the house until we sadly left, waved farewell by Liz at the beach we enjoyed every minute. All staff, Ali, Liz and Safari made our stay unforgettable. On Christmas Eve they organized sundowners and dinner barbeque on the beach. Safari cooked amazing food throughout our stay. Every day’s flavoured ice cream was amazing and made us guess what the flavour of the day was. Also arranging for shopping for food and drinks in advance was great so that we didn’t have to think about that while on holiday. Safari had his small book where every shillings was accounted for. Ali took us out waterskiing, a trip to Lamu and Shela town, organized a sundown cruise in a dhow, ensured we had cold drinks and ice cubes etc. We felt we had the beach for ourselves throughout the week even during Christmas season. We can highly recommend Jahazi house and I’m sure we will come back."
