You get a call from a client who wants a new sink and kitchen faucet installed. In your head it's a quick straightforward job, only to get to site and find the triple bowl sink doesn't quite fit in its opening on the laminate counter top. The location of the drain pipe on the concrete wall is too low, the faucet is something else... the manual is missing.
We get down to work. A job that usually takes a few hours, in this case it took almost 3 days seeing as we had to drill a hole for the faucet on the stainless steel sink, adjust the opening on the counter top so the sink could fit, then after testing everything else cut a fresh hole through the concrete wall to adjust the drain pipe position.
All's well that ends well. Client was satisfied.
