Luffa/Loofah is a fast growing vine, but the vegetable takes a long time to reach full size and maturity.
Then it can be harvested and turned into the luffa sponge you can scrub your body or your dishes with...
But its ok it takes a while, cause its 100% natural grown, and i think they are quite pretty to look at.

Do you grow luffa/loofah?
If you are not growing luffas/loofah and have some space, contact me, I sell the seeds.
You can grow Luffa/loofah on your terrace/balcony or your rooftop. They just need a bit pot of soil mixed with compost and loads of sun and water, and something for the vines to climb on.
Now its the rainy season, so let nature help you with the watering part.
Its called Lazy Gardening.

Butterfly pea flower tea
Locally grown, near secret lake. Carefully handpicked, dried and packaged.

These dried flowers will bring you a mesmerizing blue colored drink that is not just pretty, but healthy too.

* Cold drink. Boil water, add 15 flowers, wait, and watch the making in front of you. The water changes from clear to blue.
If you add lime, it will turn purple. Mix with ice, soda water or plain water, and when poured with care, the drink turns unicorn coloured.
Very pretty and extremely refreshing.
* Hot moon drink. Heat up milk, add a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg and stir till boiling point. Add in 1 teaspoon of blended flowers, stir and you got a blue moon drink.
Calming and relaxing, prefect before bed.
* Hot tea. Boil water, add 10-15 flowers, let them sit for 10 min, strain the tea,add lime, palm sugar or honey to taste.
* Other uses. Natural food coloring for cakes, rice, shakes, smoothies. or color dye.

Oh, butterfly pea tea is extremely good for you. It's full of antioxidants, contains anthocyanins, helps improve eyesight, promotes graceful ageing and healthy skin. The list is endless.
Not just pretty, but good for you!
