In his official New Year 2026 message, UN Secretary-General António Guterres warned that conflict and war are not only humanitarian tragedies, but also accelerators of the climate crisis, urging global leaders to “choose people and planet over pain.”

Reflecting on this message, an article published by Euronews highlighted research from The War On Climate, a campaign advocating for the inclusion of military emissions in global climate agreements.

Their findings reveal the often-overlooked environmental footprint of warfare, reminding us that climate accountability must extend beyond peacetime systems.

As a cultural institution, we believe art and dialogue play a vital role in amplifying these urgent global conversations.

Wars affect us all… humans, animals, nature.

The War on Climate initiative highlights the impact of military operations and warfare on climate change, recognizing them as major yet overlooked contributors to greenhouse gas emissions.

Inspired by this theme, La Maison des Artistes Gallery organized a youth art competition, giving young voices the space to express their vision of this shared crisis.

Come explore their artworks and feel their powerful messages.

The exhibition runs until February, with new artworks rotating weekly. With each visit offering a new vision and more experience.

“Voices of Change – The War on Climate” continues at La Maison des Artistes.

Our theme focuses on a critical and often overlooked issue: the environmental impact of military activity.
From massive greenhouse gas emissions and extreme fuel consumption to land destruction, toxic waste, chemical contamination, and the long-term environmental scars left by conflict, military operations represent one of the most damaging forces on our planet.

This exhibition brings together artists who use their work to confront this reality: to reveal what is usually hidden, to question the cost of conflict, and to highlight the urgent need for accountability and environmental protection.

If you haven’t visited yet, this is your reminder.

Come explore the artworks, the stories, and the voices calling for change.
