In the heart of Old Saida, we have been working on restoring one of the city’s most beautiful historic streets. The intervention focused on bringing back the authentic character of the traditional architecture while improving safety and functionality for the residents and shop owners.
Our team carried out:
Gentle cleaning of historic stone walls to reveal their original textureApplication of traditional lime plaster, allowing the walls to breathe naturallyRestoration of historic wooden windows, shutters, and market doors using original craftsmanshipOrganization of electrical wiring and installation of clean external conduits New plumbing lines, carefully integrated to avoid visual impactRepair of balconies and installation of steel balustrades where neededImprovement of the street’s visual harmony while keeping its soul and heritage intact
This project is part of a wider effort to revitalize Old Saida and support its living heritage preserving the past while serving the needs of today’s community.
