This was the first design commission 'Wazani and Associates' was awarded and we won the 1998 TERMIUM BEST STAND AWARD!

In 1998 Wazani and Associates were approached by INTERLINK to design an Exhibition stand as part of their yearly marketing strategy. That year the marketing department was targeting the launch of a new APPLE device.
The device was I Mac, a powerful computer with a well-designed colorful envelope. The device marked the new I age of APPLE.

We decided to approach the exhibition stand as an art installation that becomes a landmark within the exhibition hall. The installation was concentrated linearly along the diagonal direction of the stand space, while generously diluting the opposite quadrants of the Cartesian walkways of the exhibition hall.

The solid black-color of the installation became a dynamic background for the little colorful aliens, helping to reveal their design attribute. The installation constituted of 2 parts. A set of branded revolving panels that controlled the degree of transparency across the stand and a set of working desks that visitors use to test the new device.
