Green calathea Rufibarba 💚

Calatheas can tolerate lower lighting conditions than other tropical houseplants, they certainly need bright indirect lighting in order to thrive.

If you’re repotting the Calathea because it’s rootbound, then be sure to repot both halves of the plant in pots which is similar in size to the one that the calathea just came out of. Of course, if you have a larger plant, then you can even divide your plant into three, four, or five, plants.

Aglaonema 💚

Aglaonema or Chinese evergreen is an extremely popular house plant, which is very easy to grow.

Aglaonema Crispum is considered to be a shade tolerant plant with glossy dark green leaves with silver edges. The leaves of the species are oval and the trunk is erect. The plant is often grown in offices due to its unpretentiousness (this cultivar requires minimal care) and beautiful ornamental leaves. This aglaonema type requires minimum care.

Spider Plants 🕷️🌿

Water your Spider Plant when the top 50% of the soil is dry. Water until liquid flows through the drainage hole at the bottom of the pot and discard any water that has accumulated in the saucer. If you notice browning leaf tips, it can be from chemicals found in water, which cause build-up.💙

Spider plants will do well in almost any nutrient-rich and well-draining soil. For an ideal mix, choose any good potting soil and mix a part of perlite or pumice for aeration along with a handful of compost or worm casting for the spider plant's nutritional need. Avoid garden soil as it is too heavy for a spider plant.🌱

Water enough to keep the soil moist, but not wet or soggy. Alternanthera wilts fairly easily if it gets too dry, but quickly recovers when you water it. Outdoors, grow alternanthera in sun or shade. Just like as a houseplant, these plants have better colors in the garden or container gardens when they get more light.

Keep this plant in bright, indirect light for at least 8 hours a day. Avoid direct sunlight. Fluorescent lighting can also be used. When growing this houseplant for blooms under fluorescent lights, increase the time to 12 hours.
