🧇 Classic Waffles Recipe
🍽 Servings: 4–5 waffles

🧂 Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 large eggs (separated)
1¾ cups milk
½ cup melted butter (or oil)
1 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Mix the dry ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Mix the wet ingredients:
In another bowl, whisk the egg yolks, milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
Combine:
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir gently until just combined (don’t overmix!).
Whip egg whites:
In a separate clean bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form.
Gently fold them into the batter — this makes your waffles light and fluffy!
Cook the waffles:
Lightly grease the waffle iron with butter or oil.
Pour enough batter to cover the waffle grid (don’t overfill).
Close the lid and cook for 4–5 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
Serve warm:
