Grateful to be part of The Galle International College✨

And to have contributed to this inspiring journey where architecture meets purpose. Recently, we had the privilege of sharing our design process at the GIC Fundraiser Event held at Radisson Collection Resort ,an evening filled with creativity, collaboration, and meaningful connections.

Project Introduction - Galle International College

The proposed Galle International College campus is envisioned as a unified educational environment that brings together all sections of the school within one cohesive architectural framework.

At its heart lies a circular atrium a multifunctional space inspired by the form and spirit of an amphitheatre. Acting as the central hub of the campus, it serves as an assembly hall, theatre, and social gathering area that connects around 700 students and parents.

Surrounding this core, the academic and activity wings are linked by bridges and framed by landscaped courtyards, promoting openness, community, and connection with nature. From the Kindergarten and Primary levels to Senior classrooms, labs, cafeteria, and library every space is designed to foster inclusivity, interaction, and growth within a vibrant, light-filled setting. 🌿

Located in the serene beachside village of Polhena on Sri Lanka’s southern coast, Meraki Polhena is a retreat designed in response to its tropical context with refined restraint and clarity.
Bedrooms are arranged at staggered levels around a central pool, balancing privacy with openness and creating a calm, rhythmic flow of space.

Architecturally, the design contrasts linear precision with organic softness the rectilinear main block complemented by a gracefully curved Yoga Shala that enhances natural ventilation and introduces sculptural warmth. Material choices celebrate the tropical climate, embracing textures that age beautifully and invite touch.

A composition that finds harmony in light, form, and rhythm.

The Charleston Galle Fort is a restored 1924 Art Deco residence inside the historic Galle Fort. The design keeps the classic Art Deco character while bringing in modern comfort, creating a perfect balance of heritage and contemporary living.
