Eco Crafts Hand-woven baskets, boxes, key-tags and much more, made out of used magazines

We create hand-woven baskets, boxes, key-tags and anything else that can be made out of used magazines. This was introduced by a Malaysian organization involved in Women's Empowerment, who carried out workshops throughout Sri Lanka. This was initially done by orphan girls who wanted to get some money in hand, by making and selling these at Fairs & Trade shows. Now we have taken up the idea to cont

inue this, which was once a mere idea to simply put up these items for sale at the same Fairs and Trade shows, and turn it into a mini-income generation plan. We hope to initially gain profits and then train girls (orphans girls, girls in need and others in a similar category) who are willing to learn this art, with which they can then make and sell through us, thereby get some income of their own.
