SPA interior project.
The interior draws inspiration from the lightness of wind-blown sand and the warm tones of a seaside sunset—moods that become visible the moment one enters the hotel lobby. Throughout the space, organic forms, rounded corners, and textured clay plaster create a sense of comfort, safety, and calm. To ensure harmony, the palette consists of warm, natural tones: light and dark wood veneer, moss-green furnishings, and soft neutral greys.

The Palanga Youth Center was designed with careful attention to its surroundings, located at the intersection of Vytauto and Jūratės streets. The building forms an L-shaped volume that helps shape a new public space and separates it from the nearby parking area. At the heart of the site, an amphitheater serves as a flexible outdoor space for cultural events, youth programs, and community gatherings.
The architectural language balances modern expression with respect for Palanga’s historical identity. With irregular roof slopes, pine thermowood siding, and large glazed openings, the building creates a unified form that visually connects interior spaces with the amphitheater, reinforcing its openness to the community.

Temporary architectural structures in courtyard.
Mobility and flexibility are central to the intervention. The main amphitheater is designed as four movable segments, allowing it to be easily reconfigured for different events or spatial needs. Benches and planter units are likewise mobile, offering the possibility to reshape the courtyard into more intimate and comfortable zones. This adaptability empowers users to engage with the space in varied ways, whether for gatherings, performances, or bar space. Through this sensitive and dynamic approach, the project reimagines temporary architecture as a means to activate public space while remaining deeply rooted in its context.

Temporary architectural structures in courtyard.

Multifunctional architectural objects have been thoughtfully integrated to respond to both spatial and contextual needs. Crafted from natural wood and Corten steel, the structures reflect the material character of the Old Town, blending seamlessly into the historic texture of the site. The façade system draws directly from the linear rhythm of the existing paving, reinterpreting it as a wooden slat pattern that creates a cohesive visual language between the new additions and their environment.

The interior space features exposed stone and brick walls that frame a central bar desk in perforated ceramic blocks, topped with a stainless steel countertop. A single suspended light strip casts a subtle glow, accentuating the tension between the rough architectural shell and the refined, tactile finishes. The design respects the building’s history, creating a spatial narrative where heritage meets hospitality.

The interior design of the family house revolves around the idea of seamless spatial integration, harmonizing natural wood elements with warm white tones to create a welcoming and cohesive atmosphere. The primary living area adopts an open-plan configuration, enhancing spatial fluidity and fostering a sense of connectivity throughout the home. This layout allows for versatile functionality while maintaining a strong visual continuity. A distinctive two-slope ceiling introduces a dynamic architectural element, contributing to the overall sense of openness and character within the space.

The family house is a composition of two volumes connected by an entrance space. Laconic volumes, color, texture, proportions and angles are the essential compositional tools of this house. All the main rooms have access to outdoor spaces—courtyards which create a sense of cosiness and privacy, allowing to enjoy both morning and evening sun.

The house, situated in a densely built area of Palanga, engages with the pitched roofs of the surrounding architecture while introducing a contemporary interpretation. The sloped side facades, clad in green steel sheets, seamlessly blend with the site’s natural greenery, adding vibrancy to the environment. Mature birch trees on the plot are preserved, enhancing the dialogue between the natural and built elements. The ground floor accommodates spacious office and commercial areas with transparent partitions, fostering a connection to the street, while the upper levels are dedicated to two private residential apartments.
