Microsoft has announced that the Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 will be available starting January 28, 2019, in India via e-commerce platforms (Amazon and Flipkart) and select retail stores of Croma, Reliance, Vijay Sales, and other retailers. The devices will be available for commercial/enterprise customers through authorized resellers.

The Surface Pro 6 features redesigned architecture under its hood. The quad-core, 8th Generation Intel Core processor device is 1.5 times faster than its predecessor while offering the same battery life and a 12.3-inch PixelSense display. You also get the inking features and Surface Pen with Artificial Intelligence (AI) features available on Office 365. Meizu working on 16T gaming smartphone backed by Snapdragon 855 chipset!!

Meizu has recently introduced three new smartphones for the masses. The company has released Meizu16th, Meizu 6T and Meizu C9 back in 2018 and is reportedly working on another smartphone called Note 9. Apparently, this is not the only smartphone on which the company is working on. There is a new gaming phone which is under development and will be a premium offering by the company.

The gaming smartphone which is under development is the Meizu 16T (Turbo) and this information was revealed by Huang Zhang, CEO, Meizu. Zhang took it to the company's official forum to reveal some important information related to upcoming Meizu premium smartphones in 2019.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4X Pro 55-inch and Mi TV 4A Pro 43-inch smart TV models were launched in India last week starting from Rs. 22,999. These TVs are all set to go on sale for the first time in the country today at 12 PM. These will be available via Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores. Alongside these models, the company also launched the Mi Soundbar.

Both these Xiaomi TVs are based on the company's PatchWall UI similar to the other models from the company. The other notable aspects include inbuilt Chromecast support, 20W stereo speakers, voice command remote controls and a nice looking design with thin bezels. These TVs will be bundled with over 700,000 hours of content provided by 14 partners.

Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4X Pro 55-inch is priced at Rs. 39,999 and the Mi LED TV 4A Pro 43-inch is priced at Rs. 22,999. The sale is all set to debut at 12 PM today and you will have to hurry up to buy them before the stock runs out.

Sony has introduced a new full-frame 24mm F1.4 Prime lens in India. The new lens is an addition to Sony's full-frame G Master series lenses lineup and is designed to cater to the needs of photography enthusiasts. The new FE 24mm F1.4GM (SEL24F14GM) makes use of Sony's advanced optical technologies to enhance the photography experience. The lens features a compact and lightweight design and weighs just 445g.
The Sony FE 24mm F1.4GM lens has a wide aperture of f/1.4 which allows it to capture high resolutions across the entire frame. The lens features a new optical design which has a total of 13 elements featuring two XA (extreme aspherical) elements and three ED (Extra-low Dispersion) elements. The XA elements allow the lens to reduce coma significantly. With the help of Sony's Nano AR coating the flare and ghosting is also reduced which allows it to produce high contrast images even under direct sunlight. The bokeh effect. The 24mm F1.4 GM has a total of 13 elements, including two XA (extreme aspherical) which significantly reduce coma, and three ED elements. Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus was spotted running Android 9 Pie OS on the popular benchmarking database Geekbench. The large-screen tablet was announced in August with a 10.1-inch display. In addition to the bigger display, it also has a more capacious battery than the Mi Pad 4.

The company was quick in rolling out the Android 8.1 Oreo update based on MIUI 10 to the Mi Pad 4. To be precise, the update was rolled out in just a few days of the launch of this tablet. Also, it sent out another update bringing to the Xiao AI digital assistant to the device. So, there is no doubt that the Mi Pad 4 Plus will also get timely updates. Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus Geekbench listing Xiaomi launched two variants of the tablet - one with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space and the other with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage space. Both the variants run Android 8.1 Oreo. Now, the latest listing on the Geekbench database shows these devices running Android 9 Pie. We can expect the device to be updated to MIUI 10 as well. Maybe, the latest iteration of the custom ROM could be under testing. Furthermore, the details show that the device runs octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz. However, the device uses processor clocked at 2.2GHz. And, the Mi Pad 4 Plus appears to have scored 1643 and 5854 points in the single-core and multi-core tests respectively.

According to report by Counterpoint Research, the sale of new iPhones (XR/XS/XS MAX) launched in November were down over 20 percent YoY compared to last year's launches (8/8 Plus/X).

In contrast, last year in November the more expensive iPhone X was the best-selling model with almost 50 percent higher volume compared to the iPhone XR in November this year.
