Every great championship needs a venue worthy of the occasion.
For the ESBA MaxiBasket Championship Algarve / Albufeira 2026, that venue is the Pavilhão Municipal de Albufeira, one of the Algarve’s leading indoor sports facilities and the stage where teams from across Europe and beyond will come together this June.
Over the course of the championship, the venue will host hundreds of players, coaches and supporters, providing the setting for competitive games, memorable performances and the shared experiences that define international veteran basketball.
Its central location in Albufeira also means teams are never far from the beaches, restaurants and atmosphere that make the destination so appealing.
In June, the Pavilhão Municipal de Albufeira will once again become the heart of the action.

Over the past weeks, we’ve seen strong interest from teams across different countries, with many already confirmed for the ESBA MaxiBasket Championship Algarve / Albufeira 2026.
To allow a few more teams to complete their planning and join the competition, the registration deadline has been extended until 11 May.
If your team is still considering taking part, this is the final opportunity to be included in this year’s edition.
