Another white door installation recently. We find that people tend to match door color to the window frame colour. This is safe option for a clean and cohesive look, but it is not mandatory. Mixing similar tones or contrasting opposites can look just as good.

Replacing the main door to upgrade the energy efficiency and to update the look of the house. Both doors are white and have multiple glass panels, but the new ones are decidedly more modern.

This is a fence and two gates we are working on in Koerich. The Client opted for a dual colour combination- dark gray on the outside and a near white on the inside, to brighten up the view from the windows. Different colours are available in several finishes and they can all be matched freely (within the same range) to suit everyone’s needs.

Are traditional doors still relevant? Of course they are, even in modern buildings as shown here. With classic detailing, softer lines and charming accents, they remain elegant and not overwhelming. Often referred to as English doors, traditional-style doors feature these elements: transoms and sidelights, look of wood, reliefs, classic hardware and visible hinges, glass panels. They almost never feature any curved lines and no decorative inserts except for glazing. They can be made from wood or other materials. The doors on the photo are made of steel with insulated core and durable pvc coating resembling wood.

So what is a bioclimatic pergola? In short, it’s a pergola with a roof made up of aluminium, rotating lamelles also called slats. Thanks to the functionality of rotating slats, it offers a protection against excess ☀️ radiation while ventilating the terrace space. To take advantage of the full sun management properties, remember about north-south axis installation.
Did you know that bioclimatic pergolas also offer a rain protection when fully closed? The roof slats have a special “channel” for draining rainwater. Such pergola is therefore a rain-proof solution, although most manufacturers allow the possibility of small discharges between slats during heavy rain accompanied by a gusty wind. 💨 🌧️
