In October 2020, the specialists of JT Unimetal carried out the second phase of reconstruction and automation of the 2.5MW biomass fired centralized heating boiler house for the Technical School in the town of Viski, Latvia. The main target of works was to upgrade the boiler house systems up to the operator’s free level.

Job is done!

During September/October 2020, JT Unimetal's specialists supplied and installed equipment for the central heating boiler room in Slampe, Latvia.

Client: Tukuma Siltums AS
Power: 2MW
System: 110C/6bar
Fuel: Woodchips

Our scope included:
• Delivery and installation of the 2 000kW vertical hot water boiler with accessories and piping
• Delivery and installation of the soot-blowing system (automatic cleaning system)
• 1 000kW heating system connection
• Repair works on the moving grate frame and grates
• 200l expansion tank delivery and installation
• Production, supply and installation of flue gas ducts, including insulation and cladding
• Upgrade and optimizing of existing automation system
