For centuries, Amazigh (Berber) women in the Atlas Mountains have been the guardians of one of Morocco’s most treasured crafts. Weaving is not simply a skill learned in workshops or schools; it is knowledge passed quietly through generations — from mother to daughter, from grandmother to child — carried through memory, patience, and daily life.
In these mountain communities, the loom has always been more than a tool. It is a place where stories are shared, songs are sung, and identity is preserved. Each rug reflects a woman’s world: her environment, her symbols, her emotions, and her vision. No two pieces are ever truly the same, because each one carries the spirit of the woman who created it.
For us, sharing Moroccan rugs with the world is not only about beautiful interiors or timeless design. It is about honoring this cultural heritage and the women who keep it alive.
