“El Menzeh hills complex” A conceptual study conducted at the center of El Menzeh township (Near Rabat). The purpose of the study was to identify the socio urbanistic need of introversion and security omnipresent in the region. As an answer to a growing demand, many real estate developers created a trend offering closed and secured residencies. In the quest of reaching an intimate and secure space we ended up with multiple segregated units lacking social interactions and mixity. The project we see here comes as a response, offering a progressive mutation from a totally open and public facility represented by a Mall with movie theatres , to a semi-public with commercial gallery and private residencies leading to the fully private part of the project sewed up as a luxury gated community with an exquisite open view over the hill.
