This design is for a Myanmar traditional restaurant located in the Pakokku region (central Myanmar). It is inspired by the old-style houses of wealthy villagers from the dry zone, built mainly with timber and reflecting the character of traditional rural homes.
The design focuses on natural lighting and ventilation, without the use of air conditioning, to create a comfortable and authentic atmosphere.
Although this project was completed quite some time ago, I recently came across it again and decided to keep it as a memorable piece.

Private Warehouse (No. 81)

This private warehouse is designed as a contemporary industrial facility with a strong corporate identity. The concept integrates functional warehouse space with modern office components, creating a balanced composition between utility and architectural expression.

The ground floor is planned for efficient logistics operations, featuring a wide roller shutter door and a dedicated loading/unloading area for smooth truck access and circulation. The clear-span warehouse layout maximizes storage flexibility and operational efficiency.

Upper levels are designed as administrative and office spaces, separated visually yet harmoniously connected to the warehouse function. Large glazed openings provide natural light while vertical shading elements reduce heat gain, responding to the tropical climate.

Overall, the concept represents modernity, efficiency, and corporate strength, transforming a typical warehouse into a recognizable and well-branded industrial landmark.

✍🏻Four-Storeyed Private Residence (Yangon)

This private residence is thoughtfully designed for a Yangon-based client, blending Neo-Classical elegance with tropical responsiveness. The concept reflects prestige and timeless beauty while adapting to Yangon’s warm, humid climate and urban context.

The façade emphasizes symmetry and vertical proportion, expressing dignity and refinement. Classical elements such as arched windows, decorative cornices, and wrought-iron railings create a luxurious European character that aligns with the client’s desire for a grand and distinguished home.

At the same time, the design integrates climate-conscious features—generous window openings for cross ventilation, balconies for shading, and layered façade elements to reduce direct heat gain. The mansard-style roof enhances the iconic silhouette while contributing to thermal protection.

Greenery is incorporated at terraces and along the boundary to soften the architectural mass and create a calm urban retreat within Yangon city.

Overall, the concept represents a harmonious balance of luxury, functionality, and tropical living, tailored to reflect the client’s lifestyle and status.
