This morning I had the pleasure of welcoming four 🇺🇸American guests to our olive grove for the Extra Virgin Olive Oil Experience. Moments like these remind me why I am so passionate about what I do. Seeing their genuine curiosity, engagement, and enthusiasm to learn about the journey from olive tree to bottle was truly rewarding.
As we walked through the grove and discussed the various stages involved in producing authentic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, their questions and interactions reflected a sincere appreciation for the craft, tradition, and dedication behind every drop. Experiences such as these fill me with gratitude and reinforce how privileged I am to share this knowledge with visitors from around the world.
I am deeply appreciative of every guest who chooses to spend time with us, and I remain humbled by the opportunity to connect people with the rich heritage, culture, and passion that make genuine Extra Virgin Olive Oil so special.

Another unexpected harvest of fresh figs greeted me early this morning, and for that I am truly grateful.
At the same time, I would like to share a thought from the heart. There seems to be a small circle of individuals hiding behind keyboards who make false and malicious statements, claiming that fig trees simply grow in the wild and require no care, no attention, and no watering. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Behind every basket of quality fruit lies countless hours of hard work, dedication, sacrifice, and love. Farming is not just about planting a tree and waiting for nature to do the rest. It is about nurturing, caring, observing, and working tirelessly through every season to produce fruit of the highest quality, goodness, and flavour.
Today, I salute my late father - (thank you Pa for the sacrifices you’ve made for us) and all farmers and agricultural producers who continue this noble work despite the challenges, misunderstandings, and lack of appreciation they sometimes face. Thank you for your passion, your commitment, and your unwavering dedication to preserving our local agriculture and providing us with fresh, wholesome produce.
Your work matters, and it deserves respect.

Fig time… 🌿 🌿A journey of patience, hard work, setbacks, disappointments, and perseverance. Months of nurturing, pruning, protecting, and waiting have finally led to this rewarding moment.
This morning I picked the very first figs of the season, a small harvest that represents a year’s dedication and care. Nature teaches us that the finest rewards cannot be rushed; they are earned through commitment, resilience, and faith in the process.
From frustration to satisfaction, every challenge along the way makes this moment even sweeter. Here’s to another season of cultivating exceptional figs, one fruit at a time.

Indeed, it was a truly memorable afternoon, from strolling through the grove to savoring Extra Virgin Olive Oil, artisan cheeses, and fine wine tastings, every detail created a delightful experience for our guests. The afternoon was beautifully rounded off with a selection of authentic Maltese artisan delicacies.
