It’s January 9th and I’ve been putting off to make this announcement for weeks now. It’s something that has to be done so and I’m sure a lot of you have noticed something off so…
I know I speak for a lot of people when I say that the last 3 years have been hard. Harder for some then for others, but I guess most of us have grown in one form or another in these last years and with growth come pain, and with pain realizations and new perspectives. So while AlmaPlena is my baby and my team means the world to me and is close to me like sisters, I am taking a step back from administration for a while now.
Not to worry I am leaving you in very capable hands as you must have seen some of the beautiful new ideas. So while I won’t be taking any orders for now you will still have a AlmaPlena for all your gifts, home decor and supplements. I Love all of you and am thankful for all the love and support that you have given me through these last years! Xoxo 💋 💋

I’ve always been amazed with the old handwriting that my grandparents used. It’s such a classic font that sadly isn’t practiced anymore today. Anyone else went through their grandparents thing and looked at their old letters, pictures and books?

Thinking about our heritage and thinking about what a hard start they had coming to a new country, new culture one can only assume that they didn’t give much thought on taking many photos, that’s why I am so happy that my grandparents had a nice collection of vintage photos that I got to frame and get to share. I honestly have to say out off all the hundreds of signs and wall art that I’ve made over the years these are by far my favorites.

For 8 Sunday’s we went through the beatitudes verse by verse and it was such a blessing to get a deeper understanding on what God promised us with the Beatitude.

Imagine how different the world would be if all followers of Christ just lived out what the beatitudes promises…would we see less evil? Less selfishness? More love? More peace? More desire to win people for God?
The beatitudes is a promise from a merciful God to a kingdom in heaven if we follow his commands.

Ok so I promised and introduction, but the girls said that they needed a good foto for that 😏 so I’ll just do and informal introduction.

The girls behind these tea bombs are my daughter Xenia and cousin/friend (second cousin 🤔) Amy.
Booth girls are homeschooling and decided that they wanted to learn how to apply math to everyday use, so we came up with something cool for them to try. We were browsing the Internet for something to inspire us. Something new that we could offer our community and shop. Imagine our fascination when we stumbled onto the world of tea bombs. Who ever knows Xenia as a small child will remember her obsession with sweets 😏 so I guess we’ve come full circle. So these girls decided that this would be a good extra lesson for them so they partnered up and the rest is history. It has been fun watching them get together weekly and trying to master the art of tea bombs. I am so very proud of what they have accomplished so far.

What does Proverbs 31 say about a woman?
She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all."

This verse is often taken out of context, but I find it fitting for Mother’s Day. I am extremely blessed to have a mother who I can say has lived her whole life like a proverbs 31 woman. So Hera to the Proverbs 31 mothers! May we honor them and seek to be like them!! 💗💗

🤍🤍Easter time. I don’t know about the rest of you, but for me it’s always a bittersweet time of the year.
A time where I constantly am reminded on what Jesus suffering and death meant. Somedays I can’t grasp how he willingly laid his life for ME! Me, an imperfect, wretched person and decided I’ll take her sins on me and die in her stead so that she can one day see the glory of God. In a world that applauds selfishness it is hard to understand the mercy of God and the way he lived is to sacrifice his only son so that we can find peace in him.
