Since I never posted a 2025 recap, here it is!

Big thanks to the brands that believed and supported me! While I still have lots of projects on my wishlist, I’d love to focus on community this year, because how else are we going to get through the next 3 years 😭 I’ll be sharing more details in the upcoming weeks on the classes and events I’m hosting, but in the meantime I’d love to donate a project for a local family in need.

Do you know of anyone local (Austin) that could use some help with some minor repairs or makeover (timeframe later this year)? Please send me a DM with their story!

Building built-ins are my favorite thing and a great beginner project as well. Consider this your sign to add a built-ins to your 2026 project list! Great for an office, bedroom, coffee nook and even a dry bar. And you’d be surprised at the cost of materials - take a guess!

Guest bathroom in stills! A little moody, a little cheeky. Might be my favorite one yet!

Fun fact: I painted a swatch on the wall about 4 years ago and felt it wasn’t right. When I was deciding the color palette a few months ago I was leaning more pink/salmon/coral as a nod to the original bathroom color, but ultimately ended up with red 😂 guess subconsciously it was always in the back of my mind, felt like a full circle moment.

Phase 1 of the laundry room maker is complete! Thank you for making it happen! Here’s to more storage, somewhere to dry my clothes and a set of washer and dryer that works harder than I do!!

Phase 2 will include more storage, DIY wall mounted drying rack, and art to hide electrical panel, hopefully happening sometime this year, who knows, this project was 3 years in the making 🤪

Not a lot of projects got completed this year, but I recently cleaned out this office, restyled the shelves and took time to appreciate the projects I did finish over the years. This is the only room in the house that is 100% complete now that the standing desk is done 🤭 this space was originally a formal dining room. We moved the walls to make it smaller, closed off multiple openings, and added a pocket door. Used sektion cabinets for the base with custom cabinet fronts using pole wrap from . Uppers built using 3/4 plywood. Painted in hidden falls by and english chestnut by . This was such a fun project and definitely DIYable. Drop any questions you have below!
