IASA Malaysia The Global Professional Body of IT Architects IASA is centrally governed and locally run. Its global chapter is located at Austin, Texas, USA.

In Malaysia, IASA was first formed in June 2004 (back then was known as Independent Software Architect Council Malaysia i.e. ISAC-M) as a special interest group under Malaysia National Computer Confederation (MNCC) focus on IT Architecture are of interest. Since then in June 2006, IASA has established itself as non-profit professional association who are run by IT Architects and for all IT Archite

cts. The professional body focuses on the professional first before profession and covers domain skills sets from Infrastructure, Enterprise, Software, and Application to fundamental architecture. IASA takes extreme care to "Think Globally, Act Locally“. The local chapter is run by the local professionals who are passionate about IT Architecture and strives to create IT Architect as a profession.
