Pittolo Private Kitchen Pittolo promotes "Traditional Italian Cuisine" via
Cooking Classes, Private Dining (Advance Booking) A 3 to 4-course menu, will cost from RM160 per pax onward.

Pittolo Private Kitchen is the brainchild of Tracy Poon-Peverali and her Italian husband who shares the vision of sharing Authentic Italian Food with more foodie in Malaysia. Each time the Italian chef will design a menu according to his inspiration and the availability of ingredients, from local or Italy.

โ€œItalian Cooking Classesโ€ - we choose easy recipes to ensure the learned dishes can be put

to use. We created our โ€œmagic-spoonโ€ approach to facilitate students to appreciate the Italian ingredients. "Private Dinner bookings" are by appointment only; at carefully selected venues in Bangsar or in Kuala Lumpur. 1-week advance booking and minimum 5 pax. Sometimes we may have some special unique ingredients which may cost from RM220+ per pax. Do inquire with us if you are interested. The dinner is not all about food alone. There will be personalised interaction with the host who will bring you first-hand knowledge about Italian food culture and stories about Italian dishes, which most guests enjoy a lot! Here in Kuala Lumpur, weโ€™ve never cooked itโ€”until now. So, my hubby gave it a goโ€ฆ

Allowing for hands-on timing, together they already take about ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ, which means if we start at 10am, lunch will be ready around 1pm โ€” just the right moment when everyone is hungry. ๐Ÿ˜‹

But here is my little dilemmaโ€ฆ

There is often some seasoned ricotta and minced chicken left after the rolls, and my cookโ€™s instinct hates wasting good ingredients.

So Iโ€™m thinkingโ€ฆ
Should we quickly turn the leftovers into:

๐Ÿฅ’ ๐๐š๐ค๐ž๐ ๐’๐ญ๐ฎ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ ๐™๐ฎ๐œ๐œ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ข

It would take about ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽโ€“๐Ÿ’๐ŸŽ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ฎ๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ž, and students could learn a nice trick about using leftovers creatively.

Still testing this during my rehearsal, so nothing confirmed yetโ€ฆ

I tried an online โ€œmayoโ€ recipe using egg yolk, oil, flour, milk and lemon juice โ€” cooked in a pan. The result? Quite disappointing ๐Ÿ˜… Too sweetโ€“sour, not savory, and slightly grainy โ€” nothing like real mayonnaise.

Instead of wasting it, I mixed in some leftover green pesto ๐ŸŒฟ plus a pinch of salt. Big improvement! More savory, more aroma, more depth.

Steamed some potatoes ๐Ÿฅ” to test โ€” and it actually worked very nicely.

Kitchen experiments donโ€™t always succeed โ€” but sometimes they can still be rescued โœจ
