Linea Noir is a 5,000sf total build-up, located in Setia Alam designed as open, breathable home with a quietly refined feel. The open-plan layout maximises natural daylight, allowing spaces to feel airy, expansive, and connected. A balanced palette of crisp white, deep black accents, and warm timber tones creates a clean yet welcoming contemporary aesthetic.

Timber flooring grounds the space with warmth, while natural stone, timber textures, and vertical detailing add depth and material richness. The interior remains sleek and uncluttered, with built-in elements seamlessly integrated into wall planes for a cohesive look.

In the living and dining area, continuous timber flooring enhances visual flow, while slim cabinetry with subtle detailing adds refinement. Integrated storage, such as the cabinet wall behind the sofa, ensures the space feels intentional and balanced.

The kitchen carries this language through a seamless island that ties into the flooring. Slim countertops keep the design light, while material transitions clearly define zones. A standout feature is the floating stone-clad cabinet extending into the backsplash, creating a strong visual statement. Consistency between dry and wet kitchen is maintained through timber textures, fluted detailing, and stone finishes, while the wet kitchen’s white marble and cabinetry offer a clean, timeless contrast.

The master bedroom takes on a darker, more intimate tone, creating a space that feels both calm and quietly luxurious. Thoughtfully designed built-ins, a floating dressing table, and a sculptural desk help define different zones, while the charcoal fluted bed panel and soft upholstered headboard add warmth and texture. Subtle ceiling detailing further separates the spaces without feeling heavy.

The guest room stays light, neutral, and restful, with oak finishes and gentle fluted details giving it a soft, welcoming feel. In contrast, the kids’ rooms are more expressive, each with its own personality, ranging from soft, nature-inspired greens to playful mint and blue tones, and even bolder colour-blocking with functional elements. Tucked within the home, the reading alcove becomes a quiet highlight, featuring a custom sage bookshelf with warm oak accents and an asymmetrical layout that feels both structured and relaxed.

The new Nippori branch reimagines the brand’s signature aesthetic through a refined, contemporary lens, combining tactile materials, clean geometry, and thoughtful spatial layering. Anchored by a strong architectural identity, the design establishes a warm, structured environment that blends hospitality with crafted detailing.

The entrance is framed by a gently curved perforated brick screen, introducing visual porosity and a sense of transition. Acting as a soft threshold, it partially conceals the dining area while drawing guests inward. Timber cladding continues seamlessly from façade to interior, creating visual continuity and setting a grounded, natural tone. Inside, the space unfolds along a linear axis. A terracotta-tiled spine guides circulation, flanked by terrazzo flooring that subtly delineates pathways from dining zones. Booth seating with upholstered banquettes and modular timber tables balances intimacy with efficiency, while oversized layered pendant lights become sculptural focal points, diffusing warm ambient light. Floating acoustic baffles reinforce the geometry and enhance acoustic comfort.

A warm lighting strategy accentuates material richness: recessed strip lights trace wall panels, spherical pendants add contemporary detail, and integrated planters introduce softness and greenery. Together, these elements create a layered environment that is both calming and dynamic. Family inclusivity is expressed through a dedicated children’s play area, featuring a bespoke wooden playhouse with a slide and a whimsical landscape mural in muted tones. Large globe pendants brighten the zone, extending hospitality into an imaginative, child-friendly space. The service and display zone further embodies Nippori’s crafted identity. A white brick counter with floral accents is paired with a glass showcase, while open timber shelving with frosted glass and fabric drapes combines transparency with warmth.

This new Nippori branch reflects the evolution of the brand’s design language—rooted in Japanese simplicity, yet elevated through modern materiality, spatial clarity, and crafted inclusivity. The result is a warm, elegant dining environment that balances openness, holistic, and family-friendly hospitality.

Muted Grandeur, located in Kuala Lumpur, is conceived as an articulation of quiet luxury through controlled materiality, precise detailing, and a muted tonal palette. The design employs a cohesive language of dark wood, greige finishes, bronze inlays, and natural stone to create a spatial composition that balances structure, tactility, and light.

The living space is anchored by a flamed granite texture feature wall set against a soaring double-volume ceiling, establishing verticality. Vertical ridges on dark wood accents, recessed cabinetry, and integrated bronze detailing reinforce the linear rhythm. A suspended linear chandelier accentuates the void, framing the primary seating zone without overwhelming the architectural envelope. The dry kitchen, spatially continuous with the living area, extends the palette through dark wooden joinery with bronze trims and high-veined marble. A rounded-edge island softens the rectilinear geometry, while open shelving and vertical marble cladding with ribbed detailing create tactile depth. The powder room introduces soft curvature with full-height marble cladding and vertical ribbing, visually lightening the floating vanity and concealing structural columns behind curved timber panels.

The master suite layers deep oak flooring, greige fabric panels, and emerald ribbed detailing with bronze inlays to define a calm, tactile environment. A custom curved TV console functions as both a media unit and a spatial divider, maintaining continuity. The dressing area adopts boutique retail language, integrating lacquered emerald panels with vertical brass trims and a central marble island with ribbed detailing and polished brass edging. In the master bathroom, a double vanity in dark oak is paired with white-veining black marble and a vertically fluted book-matched stone wall, emphasizing height and rhythm. An emerald green feature plane establishes continuity with the dressing area palette. The entertainment room adopts a bolder tone through charcoal cabinetry, green-veined marble, and integrated bronze trims. The entertainment room is designed as a sophisticated evening retreat, featuring charcoal cabinetry, green-veined marble and bronze accents. Vertical trims and recessed niches introduce rhythm and depth, while ambient lighting enhances warmth. A sculptural base with softened edges encourages fluid movement, and a curved fluted glass arched door softly diffuses light.

Across the residence, the design strategy focuses on material integrity, linear expression, and controlled geometry. Each space is layered with refined tactility and understated detailing, allowing light, texture, and proportion to speak quietly yet powerfully. The result is a home that embodies muted grandeur where timeless elegance is achieved not through excess, but through the precision and restraint of its architectural language.

Plus Space is a coworking office that integrates professional business services within a flexible, well-designed workspace, conveniently located in Kuala Lumpur’s financial, retail, and entertainment hubs. Created for modern, mobile businesses, it offers a conducive environment for productivity and collaboration. Plus Space is the epitome of contemporary workplace design that reflects a sophisticated yet approachable professional environment, integrating soft organic forms, clean lines, glass, steel, and wood elements that seamlessly incorporates their corporate hues of blue and orange to encourage collaboration, productivity, and a sense of belonging.

Transparency and open design layout are emphasized while preserving functionality and privacy. The subtle segregation of the spaces revolves around the idea of delineating zones through materials, forms, and purposeful transitions. Each area is carefully curated to serve a distinct function while maintaining a seamless visual and physical connection through the space. Dual-tone flooring that defines different zones, textured blue carpets for work areas and meeting rooms promote acoustic comfort, light wood vinyl flooring in social spaces enhances openness and hospitality. The use of architectural curvature, curved joinery, and built-ins complements the brand’s professional ethos while adding warmth and approachability balanced by the structural materiality of ribbed glass and hairline steel, which convey transparency and structure, thereby elevating the sensory experience. Soft ambient lighting is seamlessly integrated through recessed fixtures and concealed LED strips. Cove lighting emphasizes the architectural curves, creating a clean yet dynamic ceiling profile. Lighting is strategically used to delineate spaces, enhancing both functionality and mood.

The custom reception desk features a sculptural, fluid form with integrated lighting and adjoining curved backdrop that features softly illuminated reeded glass and stainless steel for a futuristic gesture. A key highlight of the office is the pill-shaped glass meeting room, fully curved blue gradient glass on an elevated platform, and recessed cove lighting that acts as a sculptural focal point within the rectilinear layout. Strategically integrating rounded seating planters subtly partitions spaces and provides visual relief to the sleek interior. Co-working spaces offer casual seating alternatives to encourage spontaneous interaction and visually connect to the pantry, which features minimalist and wood finishes and light oak vinyl flooring signaling informality and comfort. Visually connecting the mix of soft neutral whites, greys, and light woods punctuated with corporate blues and orange through accent furniture and carpets, and integrating + logo into the sticker for private room glass for a semi-enclosed yet visually open meeting room, which seamlessly weaves brand identity into the interiors that reflects the brand ethos.
