Changing the significance of the green, changing the values of the green, are the core ideologies of "Midorie". The “green” that symbolizes the nature, is also the connection between human and the nature. However, our land is being covered by concretes; urban landscapes are filled with skyscrapers which gradually quarantined human from the nature. Now, Earth is the largest invaluable life form, we
must reconsider the distance between human and the nature. Currently, we are encountering with the problems of co-existing with the nature. Thus, we have to equip ourselves with the awareness to shift the significance and values of the green. Developing a new material to replace the soil is one of the biggest achievements we’ve accomplished in the midst of attempting to approach the nature. Nevertheless, this new technology is far from capable of merely “simplifying the task of greening” as what we can observe, via the “green” provided by this new soil, we are able to bring the nature to our side, enabling us to come close to the nature; this, is the true value of this soil. Light, weather, and atmosphere are the basic requirements of all lives to foster and cultivate. Germination, growth and flowering, but wilt due to environmental changes; in relativity of any factors that affect plants’ breeding, preserving a green surrounding is our duty. Progressing from “convenient and simple greening” to “advanced and deepened greening”, is our main goal. Seeding more plants in our lives, for our hearts shall be nurtured amongst the leaves, so we can effectively and practically bond together with the nature.
“Significance and values of the green” is the aim of "Midorie".
