Designing with Purpose: A Home That Heals

This wasn’t just another renovation project—it was a mission grounded in empathy and purpose.

Our client experienced an unimaginable personal tragedy, losing his entire family in a devastating accident. For years, he disconnected from the world and wandered through life in silence. When a close friend brought him back from the edge, we were honored to be part of his next chapter.

Together, we designed a 4-bedroom unit focused on emotional well-being. Every color, texture, and detail was intentionally chosen to create a calming, ADHD-friendly, depression-sensitive space. A sanctuary—not just a home.

Six months in, he's still here. Healing is slow, but happening. And that’s everything.

Designed for a studio unit in Kuching, this interior concept focuses on flexibility, efficiency, and modern lifestyle appeal — ideal for university students or working professionals seeking a stylish, space-maximized rental.

Key design features include a Murphy-style foldable bed system that tucks into custom cabinetry, transforming the bedroom into an open living or work area when not in use. A pocket sliding door adds privacy without compromising openness or light, creating thoughtful transitions between spaces.

“砂拉越印象” was more than a project—it was a journey through memory, culture, and material storytelling.

Inspired by the early Chinese migrants who settled in Sarawak, this space is built on the idea that design should not only serve function, but honor legacy. Every design element—from the antique-style lattice doors to the handmade Peranakan tiles—was chosen to reflect both resilience and refinement.

We blended old-world textures like rattan, aged wood, and carved panels with soft lighting and jewel-toned upholstery to create a dining environment that feels timeless, cinematic, and deeply rooted in place.
