JOB POSITION: PART 2 ARCHITECT

DESCRIPTION
RE Design Sdn Bhd is a design firm that provides creative design solutions to clients. The company seeks to explore alternative ways of approaching challenges that are relevant in today's fast-changing world. RE Design's unique approach has earned recognition from the industry, reflected via international awards won. The company is located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified part 2 architect who can construct clear drawings using AutoCAD. This candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of all steps related to project completion and diligently communicate with necessary people to ensure it's done. This candidate should also be able to conduct quality assurance checks frequently to ensure regulations are followed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Create plans and drawings which clearly outline the architectural design of the project
-Utilize knowledge of basic engineering and construction materials to create the ideal finished project
-Conduct site evaluations to ensure quality of work and adherence to safety standards
-Oversee and make recommendations throughout the entire construction process under direct supervision from the Project Director
-Collaborate with various teams to establish deadlines, construction schedules and budgets
-Able to work within tight time constraints when necessary
-Owns a vehicle to travel to the construction site or meetings when required
-To meet and handle authority matters when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS
-Master's degree in architecture
-Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
-Minimum 2+ years of experience in construction and architecture is an added advantage
-Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills
-Proficient in AutoCAD and
-Ability to use Revit is an added advantage
-Able to converse in Bahasa Malaysia and English

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
-proficient in SketchUp and/or other similar 3D software
-proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
-proficient in AutoCAD
-proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
-great team player and communicator
-has basic drafting experience
-Part 1 Architectural Graduate (Bachelors Degree or equivalent)
-ability to use Revit is an added advantage
